The Story of a Girl

Photobucket
This is the story of a girl who took a look around today on her drive to work and thought, again, "wow, this is still so new". A girl who took a breath at her desk today and smiled though she was working very hard because it felt great, and she knew she was becoming a great asset to her company. A girl who opened the door as her boyfriend got in from work and told him how cute he was because she was so happy he was home. And, a girl who installed Photoshop on her laptop (finally) and can edit photos while laying in bed, if she wants to, and not on a really loud, really ancient Dell PC.
This is the story of a girl who is finally, actually content.

  1. This is nice :) I'm glad you are transitioning well to your new life in Tennessee. Also, your hair look awesome! I'm chopping all of mine of soon and can't wait!

  2. You write beautifully :)
The feeling of contentment is so nice, I don't think it comes around often enough!
I love your hair too, am considering chopping a great deal of mine off but I am a big chicken!
Hope you are having another contented day!

    1. That means a lot. I used to keep a really wordy, journal-y blog and eventually stopped writing in it publicly because I felt I was overexposing myself and sharing too many personal ~feelings~. I didn't blog for about a year after that - but I started this one up last summer and I'm finally figuring out a comfortable mixture of photos and specific content. It does feel good to share every once in a while, especially to spread positivity. I'm having a contented summer so far! Hope it keeps up :) I wish the same for you. I can't wait to check out your blog!
